Duke opens the 2025-26 season in Charlotte against the Texas Longhorns. As you may know, Texas starts again, after giving Rodney Terry the boot after last season and hired Sean Miller.
Miller was doing a second tour to Xavier after being dismissed by Arizona after the Adidas / FBI scandal.

Texas dismissed Terry after the Longhorns lost – Wait – Xavier – in the NCAA tournament last spring.
We do not yet know with what Miller works in Austin, but whatever you can think of him, and many people have had thoughts after Tucson fiasco, she is not a bad coach. He is not an excellent coach, but he did well in Arizona, making his team elite eight times three times, in addition to taking Xavier as far in 2008.
So what does his opening team think against Duke? Happy you have asked.
Tramon Mark said this: “I love it. Duke is a big challenge for us from the season. It will test everything we have worked on. These 30 days of practice that we are about to have is all for that.”

Jordan Pope’s cenat of guard added this: “It will be a good test, obviously, as soon as the door is released, throw us into the fire, see what we are made. University basketball is what you ask. This is what you want.
We will see early.
