MILAN (AP) — Inter Milan must overcome a two-goal deficit against Bodø/Glimt on Tuesday Champions League Playoffs if it is to avoid becoming the last giant to be brought down by the small Norwegian team.

Bodø/Glimt leads 3-1 after the first leg and aims for the round of 16.

Inter, beaten finalists in two of the last three seasons, play the second leg at home but risk suffering one of the biggest setbacks in the history of the competition.

“We should have done better, and there is a lot of disappointment,” Inter coach Cristian Chivu said. “But we’ve reset and now I’m interested in our approach and our confidence, being the best version of ourselves and knowing we can turn this around.”

Bodø/Glimt’s victory last week in Norway was back-to-back. victories against Manchester City and Atletico Madrid at the end of the championship phase.

“We think we can compete with most teams but at the same time we have nothing to lose,” said Bodø/Glimt midfielder Patrick Berg.

Atletico have work to do after drawing 3-3 at Club Brugge.

Newcastle look to be heading into the next round after a 6-1 win at Qarabag, while Bayer Leverkusen are in control of Olympiakos after a 2-0 first-leg victory.
