The NCAA approved a proposal allowing teams to play up to two pre-season games against any four-year school (including the teams of division I, which Saint Mary’s did by programming Arizona to Tucson and Ole Miss in Oxford), both starting this coming season.
Gonzaga will play Naia Northwest University for the first time on October 19 at 2 p.m. PT in an exhibition. The Eagles are near Kirkland, Washington, and are a Christian college.

Following this development will be another exhibition against D-II Western Oregon on October 27, and after that, things are real.
