Despite winning four games in just seven days, the Gonzaga Bulldogs fell one spot in the Associated Press poll to No. 7. The Zags received 1,101 total points and their 16 wins are the most in the country.
The Saint Mary’s Gaels, with an overall record of 15-2, received 10 votes in the AP poll.
In the NET rankings, coach Mark Few’s group ranks 4th among all college basketball programs. The Bulldogs are 3-1 in Quad 1 opportunities, 4-0 in Quad 2.

As for KenPom, Gonzaga is in 5th place (defense ranked 7th, offense ranked 10th). With Bart Torvik and EvanMiya, the Zags are placed at No. 7. They are still solidly in the No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament.
The Zags continue their unbeaten streak in West Coast Conference play against the Santa Clara Broncos (13-4, 4-0 WCC) on Thursday, January 8 at The Kennel in Spokane, Washington. Late warning is at 8:30 p.m. PT on ESPN2.
