On February 8, Topić finally took the court, where he played 12 minutes against the Milwaukee Bucks. He recorded his first points with a 14-foot jumper in the second quarter, shortly after making his first assist just 17 seconds into the game.
The Thunder lost the game 110-93, but the result was overshadowed by the emotional significance of Topić’s return. Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault praised Topić’s determination and resilience in overcoming his challenges.

In 2025, an estimated 9,720 new cases will be reported in the United States, representing approximately 0.5% of all new cancer diagnoses.
