“This could be a problem” – Stephen A. Smith warns the WNBA to approach the intimidation of Caitlin Clark due to a possible federal survey Originally appeared on Basketball network.

Espn Stephen A. Smith sounded the WNBA warning siren after the Wall Street Journal recently published an article calling for the federal government to investigate the hostile work environment that the star of the WNBA Caitlin ClarkFaces.

Although the subject looks like an excessive reaction at first glance, Smith says that he could become a potential problem for the WgbEspecially if the American president Donald Trump is involved in the issue.

“It turns out that I know a few people who have said this something that is not surprised that President Trump finally speaks, and if this man decides that it is something that can feed his base, who can register, with this type of audience that is protective of a Clark Catilin and what it represents, and what it represents, and they come to a conclusion, that they believe that it will be a problem,” Smith said.

The government must act if the WNBA does not do so

THE WSJ article started by comparing what Clark did to the WNBA to what Michael Jordan did to the NBA in the 80s. However, instead of assessing her “transformative star”, the WNBA did not lift a single finger to protect her despite the physical intimidation she received from many of her peers who seem to be envious of her popularity and her attraction of fans.

Most thought that players hated her last year because she was a newcomer trying to steal the spotlight. But the treatment continued in the second season of Clark, and many think it is no longer normal. And so, as the WSJ suggested, if the league cannot do so, the government should act.

“Ms. Clark faces a hostile working environment of manuals”, “ the article read. “If evidence shows discrimination or reprisals, the Division of Civil Rights of the Ministry of Justice must act.”

SAS warns the WNBA to take it seriously

Stephen A. says he is not in favor of the government.

“They can argue that there is enough merit. A senator has already examined it. You have members of the administration who thought about it, from what I am told. And on the basis of Trump’s story with the NFL, and that he is an obvious sports fan, he pays attention to this kind of thing. Because if he gets involved and this basis is involved, because in one way or another, they kiss the victim Caitlin Clark could be a problem, ” Smith added.

If it is true that Clark has received special treatment from opposite players, it is almost unimaginable to think that the government would carry out a federal investigation into the issue. It would be like investigating the bad boys for the rules of Jordan.

It is not a completely absurd idea, but it is really wild and difficult to imagine that the DJT gets involved in something like that.
