Indiana fever Star Kelsey Mitchell’s impact extends beyond the basketball court.
Mitchell had an MVP-worthy campaign in 2025, averaging 20.2 points on 45.6% shooting, 1.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists. With Caitlin Clark playing only 13 games and missing the rest of the campaign with a groin injury, she stepped up and led the way for Indiana.

On Tuesday, the 30-year-old babysitter promoted her annual toy drive and encouraged her followers to join the initiative by donating.
“I need your help for Christmas!” Mitchell wrote, adding: “Help us give other people a great vacation.”

Mitchell accompanied his post with a promotional image sharing details of his “5th Annual Jersey & Kicks Toy Drive Party,” hosted by the Kelz Hoop Foundation.
The event, scheduled for Saturday at the Woodlawn Community Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, will feature a silent auction and fundraiser. Fans are also encouraged to “donate new, unwrapped toys and books to children in the community.” Mitchell is originally from Cincinnati.
While Mitchell is busy this offseason as she prepares for the upcoming 3-on-3 league, Unrivaled, she is making sure to give back to the community that helped shape the player and person she is today.

Mitchell is also a free agent, but is widely expected to return to the Fever, with Indiana makes it clear that she is their priority.
