Fans Rally Around Brittney Griner As She Turns Dark Chapter Into Purpose With New Business

No one experiences adversity like Brittney Griner. The Atlanta Dream Center became the talk of the town as she was arrested in Russia for apparently “illegal” possession of cannabis oil, discovered in her vape cartridges. This 2022 saga is still fresh on everyone’s minds, as it was yesterday, and now Griner has reportedly turned this worrying chapter of his life into a new beginning.

The 35-year-old is now the proud co-founder of Zennjet, a travel company providing travel insurance and legal assistance to people transporting prescription medications, particularly cannabis prescribed by a licensed physician. And the desire to do so was very clear.

“I never want anyone to go through what I went through. I realize that I’m very fortunate and very lucky to have an agency team, my wife and everyone behind me,” Griner said. The United States today in a December 2025 interview announcing the launch of Zennjet. “I want people to be able to be aware, informed and know where they are going, where they are traveling.”

Indeed, what a trial it was for her! Few people would have imagined that something so terrible would happen as she prepared to play for Russian club UMMC Ekaterinburg. Some 0.7 grams of medically prescribed cannabis oil put her on the brink of a prison sentence of almost 10 years. Things looked bleak; his basketball career seemed on the verge of collapse.

With no way to get her out, the U.S. government had to make a deal to put her out of her misery. Finally, she was extradited as part of a prisoner exchange programbut not before serving 293 days in prison. Such a bitter taste remained in her mouth that she vowed never to play abroad again, except at home.

The fact that the 2014 WNBA champion found the courage to bounce back and not let difficult circumstances overwhelm everyone won over, a sentiment reflected in the comments she received.

Fans show strong support for Brittney Griner after launching her business

Brittney Griner’s return deserved praise; it deserved to be lionized, as most would not have been able to do what she did. Many would collapse easily, but after the initial setback, she not only returned to basketball, but also decided to challenge “archaic” laws that criminalize a licensed drug, which got fans talking.

“I love this BG

“, was one comment, while another fan even called her a hero. “Wow!!! She goes through such a traumatic experience and helps others! More than most people would!!! A true hero! » » said the user.

Well, whether Griner is truly a hero or not can be debated, but the importance of an undertaking like this cannot be denied. Zennjet is a company that works in gray areas where many would not dare tread, as it comes with its own set of complications: different laws, policies, guidelines, ideologies, etc. Yet the company dares to enter the deadly circle.

Statistically speaking, 10% of travelers have their medications confiscated and 1 in 9 travelers have to cancel their trip due to medication-related issues. This includes 42% domestic travelers and 44% international travelers, as reported The United States today in March 2024. So you can imagine the panic this creates in people’s minds.

“Trauma in triumph! Objectives.

“, came one comment, which suited such a situation, while another added: “I love it!

Another wrote: “This is amazing and I’m so happy she got to come home. Boss bb

.”

Brittney faced this disadvantage in her own lifeand now, after enduring so much during her harrowing time in prison, she knows what an initiative like this can do.
