The NFL playoffs are a busy time for playoff teams, but also for teams ready to reset their organization after previous gaps. For many playoff offensive and defensive coordinators, January is a month filled with stressful game planning, but also preparation for potentially life-changing head coaching interviews.
That’s the case for Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who is scheduled to interview for three NFL head coaching openings on Sunday, less than 24 hours after Buffalo’s game against the Denver Broncos ends. According to national NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Brady will “talk” with senior front office personnel of the Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, January 18.

Albert Breer reported that Brady is also expected to interview with the Las Vegas Raiders, for their head coaching opening. Brady has been a popular name to possibly take over as head coach of an NFL team since the end of last season, with four NFL teams requesting permission to interview him this cycle so far. The 36-year-old Florida native previously interviewed with the Miami Dolphins.
Following his ascension to the Bills OC midway through the 2023 NFL season, Brady found success almost immediately as he was tasked with leading Buffalo’s offense – one now led by current NFL MVP quarterback Josh Allen. Despite fielding one of the least scary groups of wide receivers in the league, Brady continued to get significant production from every jersey number on offense.
Buffalo finished top five in the 2025 season in total offense, boasted the NFL’s best rushing attack in yards/game and the league’s leading rusher in running back James Cook III – who finished with 1,621 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, and was named an Associated Press Second-Team All-Pro.
