YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) —

The Eastern Michigan University Athletics Department announced today, October 19, its theme and promotional schedule for the 2023-24 women’s basketball season. The Eagles will host 13 games at the George Gervin GameAbove Center that you won’t want to miss. To get your season tickets, five-star flex packs, group and single match tickets, visit EMUEagles.com/tickets. All fans who purchase season tickets will also receive a free clear tote bag and can participate in the exclusive event for season ticket holders.

Eastern’s home schedule begins Monday, November 6 against Detroit Mercy at 7 p.m.



2023-24 EASTERN WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

Monday, November 6 vs. Detroit Mercy | 7 p.m.

Home opening and first evening – East women’s basketball kicks off another season at the George Gervin GameAbove Center with its first night as fans can hit the floor for a fashionable start to the season.

Saturday November 18 c. SIU-Edwardsville | 3:30 p.m. (doubleheader)

Legacy Day: A Celebration of EMU Basketball – Eastern women’s basketball celebrates its heritage by looking to the future with Youth and High School Team Day. All teams interested in participating should send an email [email protected]. The first 100 students in the game will also receive a free Little Caesar’s Super Slice Pizza.

Friday December 29 c. Saginaw Valley | 2:00 p.m.

Hoops and Knitting Day in the Holiday Mitten – Enjoy holiday-themed contests and content and tickets to the game can be purchased at 50% off.

Saturday January 6 against Toledo | 1:00 p.m. ET (doubleheader)

Swoop’s birthday party – Take part in the birthday celebration of your favorite mascot, Swoop! Come to the George Gervin GameAbove Center to party with all his friends and enjoy a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Kids clubYes – All Jr. Eagles Kids Club members can participate in an exclusive meet and greet and autograph session with the girls basketball team. Sign up for the Jr. Eagles Kids Club in by clicking here.

Doubleheader – Stay for Superhero and Princess Day for the men’s basketball game against Kent State at 3:30 p.m.



Saturday, January 13 vs. Central Michigan | 13 hours

Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Join EMU as we commemorate the life and impact of Martin Luther King Jr. as part of the campus-wide celebration.

Wednesday January 17 against Miami | 7 p.m.

Career evening – Eastern Michigan will host a Sports Career Night for high school and college students interested in pursuing professional experience in the sports industry.

Saturday, January 27 vs. Ball State | 1:00 p.m. (doubleheader)

Military Appreciation Day – EMU will salute all active and former military personnel with complimentary tickets available through Eastern’s partnership with VetTix.

Oktoberfest – Enjoy discounted beers from the start of the women’s basketball game until the start of the men’s game, plus sample some of the best beers in the Southeast Michigan region.

Doubleheader – At 3:30 p.m., join the East men’s team for their game against Buffalo as they host First Responder Appreciation Day.

Wednesday, January 31 vs. Western Michigan | 7 p.m.

Pride Night – Eastern Michigan hosts its annual Pride Night which advocates for LGBTQIA+ educational efforts and opportunities, campus resources and highlights community groups.

Wednesday, February 7 vs. Akron | 7 p.m.

National Day of Girls and Women in Sports – Join the champions of the East, pioneers of women’s and women’s sports. UEM will organize its all-sports clinic as part of its match on Saturday, February 10.

Saturday, February 10 vs. Sun Belt Conference opponent to be determined | 13 hours

Black History Month Game – EMU women’s basketball is celebrating Black History Month by highlighting Black culture and amplifying community groups and voices.

Saturday, February 17 vs. Northern Illinois | 1:00 p.m. (doubleheader)

Retro Arcade Day – Get an exclusive “EMU Jam” t-shirt at the game and watch the Eagles warm up as they pay homage to the classic NBA Jam and other classic arcade games.

Doubleheader – Stay for game two and the rest of Retro Arcade Day when the men’s basketball team plays Bowling Green at 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, February 28 vs. Kent State | 7 p.m.

Play4Kay game – Eastern is hosting their annual Pink Game as they continue the fight against breast cancer. Fans attending the game will receive a pink rally towel and will be encouraged to wear pink during the game.



Saturday March 9 vs. Bowling Green | 13 hours

Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day – Catch the final home game of the season as EMU celebrates its senior class and thanks all its fans for supporting another fantastic season of Eastern Basketball.
