Chicago Sky star Kamilla Cardoso had a memorable sophomore season in the WNBA in 2025. The 6-foot-7 center played in 40 games for the Sky last season, averaging 13.6 points on 52.8 percent shooting, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 blocks in 27.6 minutes per game.
Cardoso’s strong play, however, was nowhere near enough to help his team achieve championship success. The Sky finished with a 10-34 record, tied with the Dallas Wings for the worst record in the WNBA.

Cardoso joined the Sky in 2024 as the third overall pick in the draft. Chicago selected its four spots ahead of Angel Reese, seventh overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Cardoso and Reese have been cornerstones of the Sky’s young core. Together, these two have established themselves as one of the most effective pairs in the league.
