Report: Giants agrees to treat minor leagues with the old All-Star Originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area

The giants would have brought an old All-Star MLB on board.

San Francisco signs a veteran corner player Lamb Jake To a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training, Jon Heyman from the New York Post reported on Monday. Heyman added that the agreement is worth $ 1 million if Lamb, 34, lists the giants.

Written by the Arizona Diamondbacks during the sixth round of the MLB 2012 recovery, Lamb made his debut in the big league in 2014 and was selected in the 2017 NL all-star team. He seemed to be the next third goal player The League, reaching 59 circuits with a 2016-2017 .843 OPS, before injuries derailed its career.

The DiamondBacks appointed the lamb for assignment in September of the MLB 2020 season, and he ended up with the Oakland Athletics to finish the campaign. Through 13 games as a replacement of Matt Chapman injured in Oakland, Lamb reduced .267 / .327 / .556 with three circuits and nine products.

Before signing a minor league contract as a first goal player with Pittsburgh Pirates in 2024, Lamb had played 114 MLB games in the past three seasons for five different teams and did not appear in the majors the season last. Now he will join San Francisco during spring training in the hope of winning a place.
