One of the 20 best tennis players and the Wimbledon title champion withdrew from the BNP Paribas Open due to an injury.
The tournament has announced that Barbora Krejcikova, from Cchea, player No. 16 in the world, will not play in the Indian wells this year. She has not been with a back injury since November, but hoped to return to the BNP Paribas Open.
Krejcikikova, which will also miss the Miami open after Indian Wells, has two Grand Chelem titles on his big book in Simple – after winning Wimbledon in 2024 and the French Open in 2021.
