Wimbledon Barbora Krejcikova’s title champion withdraws from BNP Paribas Open with an injury

One of the 20 best tennis players and the Wimbledon title champion withdrew from the BNP Paribas Open due to an injury.

The tournament has announced that Barbora Krejcikova, from Cchea, player No. 16 in the world, will not play in the Indian wells this year. She has not been with a back injury since November, but hoped to return to the BNP Paribas Open.

Krejcikikova, which will also miss the Miami open after Indian Wells, has two Grand Chelem titles on his big book in Simple – after winning Wimbledon in 2024 and the French Open in 2021.

She is also one of the best double players in the world. She has seven Grand Slam double titles and the rare career Golden Slam which wins each adult and the Olympic Games in your career. She also won the Women’s Double Championship at the BNP Paribas Open in 2023 with the partner Katerina Siniakova.

Krejcikova’s place in the main draw will go to Julia Grabher, an Austrian pro.

The tournament begins on March 2 and takes place until March 16.
