The college football season is coming to a close, with some teams trying to win the conference title and others simply trying to be bowl eligible.
Here is the Oklahoma State fan watching guide for Week 11.
Big 12 Schedule
Texas Tech at No. 16 Kansas — 11 a.m. Saturday on FS1
Baylor at No. 25 Kansas State – 2 p.m. Saturday on ESPN+
No. 15 Oklahoma State at UCF — 2:30 p.m. Saturday on ESPN
West Virginia at No. 17 Oklahoma — 6 p.m. Saturday on FOX
Cincinnati at Houston – 6 p.m. Saturday on FS1
No. 7 Texas at TCU – 6:30 p.m. on ABC
Iowa State at BYU — 9:15 p.m. Saturday on ESPN
After seeing a group of evenly matched teams face off last week, this Big 12 slate has a group of teams hoping for an upset. But this is the Big 12 after all, so chaos can happen around any corner.
With Texas Tech’s win over TCU last weekend, the Red Raiders still have a chance at bowl eligibility, but at 4-5, Tech has games at Kansas, against UCF, and at Texas to close out the year. The Jayhawks, meanwhile, are one of five teams at 4-2 in the Big 12 – waiting for Oklahoma State or Texas to slip up.
Baylor’s only wins in the Big 12 at this point are against league newcomers, but the Bears couldn’t even do that last week, losing to Houston. So, Baylor – just a few years away from winning the Big 12 – will have to defeat Kansas State, TCU and West Virginia to even become bowl eligible. K-State is in this five-team tie for third.
West Virginia’s trip to Norman is probably the conference’s game of the week. Both teams are in this five-way tie for third place in the Big 12. The Mountaineers appear to be on the rise, beating their last two opponents by a combined 43 points. The Sooners appear to be heading in the other direction, having lost back-to-back games.
This week could be Cincinnati’s last real chance to win the Big 12. The Bearcats are 0-6 in league play, and after that trip to Houston, they play at West Virginia before hosting Kansas.
TCU is right there with Baylor in terms of disappointing seasons. After making the national title game last year, TCU has only beaten Big 12 starters. The Horned Frogs have this game against Texas, a game against the aforementioned Bears and a trip to Norman to close out the year, having to win two out of three to make a bowl.
Finally, there will be Big 12 action at nightfall this week with Iowa State traveling to Provo. The Cyclones are in a five-way tie for third place, but BYU is one win away from bowl eligibility. The problem for the Cougars is that they close out the year with Iowa State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
Saturday selections
No. 3 Michigan at No. 10 Penn State – 11 a.m. Saturday on FOX

Duke at No. 24 North Carolina – 7 p.m. Saturday on the ACC Network
USC at No. 6 Oregon – 9:30 p.m. Saturday on FOX
Unfortunately, the busiest time slot of the week is the 2:30 p.m. slot in which the Cowboys play.
But there are some intriguing morning matchups, starting with No. 3 Michigan at No. 10 Penn State. The Nittany Lions are still the No. 3 team in the Big Ten after losing to Ohio State, but they could change that by taking down a Wolverines team that hasn’t gained many fans in recent weeks with the looming sign-stealing investigation .
After a promising start to the year, Tulsa lost four straight games heading into its matchup against ranked Tulane. It probably won’t be pretty, but there’s the Oklahoma angle.
Georgia Tech has beaten two ranked teams this season and enters Saturday’s road trip on a two-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Clemson is coming off a big win against Notre Dame.
Two future Big 12 members meet in the Pac-12 this weekend as Arizona heads to Boulder. The Buffaloes have three chances to win two games to be bowl eligible in the first year of the Prime era. Arizona faced five straight ranked opponents on Saturday, winning the last three games.
With losses to Georgia Tech, North Carolina and NC State, Miami hasn’t had the year it was hoping for, but the Hurricanes could ruin their rival’s season this weekend if they can get to Tallahassee and eliminate Florida State.
The Pac-12 continues to deliver its swan song. Back-to-back conference champion Utah needs help getting back into the conference title game, but the Utes can help themselves if they take down conference leader Washington.
Missouri may be the surprise of the season. The Tigers gave Georgia about all it could handle last week. Tennessee lost to the only ranked opponent it faced this year (Alabama).
After a closer than expected game against Missouri, the Bulldogs host Lane Kiffin’s 9-1 Ole Miss Rebels in what should be a fun game.
Duke and North Carolina both looked good at different times this season. It’s not that often that this rivalry pits two teams of this caliber against each other on the field.
Fresh off canning its defensive coordinator, USC heads to Oregon for a battle against the Ducks. Oregon is still in the College Football Playoff race, and as dismal as USC’s defense is, the Trojans can still score points.
