THE 2026 NBA All-Star Game was officially one of the history books of professional hoops, with newly revived fan favorites, an exciting mini-tournament and plenty of player passion to underscore the basketball bonanza’s perennial status as more than just a break from the NBA regular season.
Taking place on NBC and Peacock from February 13-15, this year’s NBA All-Star Week brought a fun new twist to the annual All-Star game formula, crowning a title team in a USA vs. World mini-tournament that showcased the best of the league’s American and international talent. Along the way, the NBA has crowned a new Slam Dunk champion, a 3-point contest winner, an All-Star MVP and much more.

Who won the 2026 NBA All-Star Game?
Team USA Stripes came home with victory in the “USA vs. the World” round-robin format.
This year’s 24 NBA All-Star selections grouped together to join a trio of 8 teams that were expected to claim their final spot at the end of a one-day mini-tournament. Theme around three teams While each gave their own nod to American and international players, the field included “Team Stars” (made up of veterans of the American All-Stars), “Team Stripes” (filled with young stars of the American All-Star), and a “World” team featuring all the best All-Star Game players from around the world.
So which group came out on top in the end? The youth won at this year’s NBA All-Star Game, where the younger members of Team Stripes left no doubt in a crushing 47-21 victory over their older NBA colleagues from Team Stars.
The headlining championship competition between Team Stripes and Team Stars came at the end of an action-packed mini-tournament whose three play-in matchups were far more competitive than the lopsided final. Team Stars earned a 37-35 victory over Team World in the opening match, only to fall to Team Stripes by a tight margin, followed by a third game in which Team Stripes eliminated Team World by a score of 48-45.

Who won MVP honors at the 2026 NBA All-Star Game?

Each mini-game in the USA vs. World tournament lasted a mere 12 minutes – but the entire tournament played out like a free-for-all. Minnesota Timberwolves Anthony Edwards notched a total of 32 points for Team Stars in his team’s three tournament matches. Combined with his 9 rebounds and 3 assists, it resulted in an All-Star effort: When the dust finally settled, Edwards won the Kobe Bryant Trophy as the league’s 2026 NBA All-Star MVP.
3-Point Contests, Slam Dunk and More: The Rest of the 2026 NBA All-Star Game Winners
Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game put a fun exclamation point on a full weekend of commemorative games, events and skills competitions at this year’s All-Star venue at the Intuit Dome (and neighboring Kia Forum) in Inglewood, California. But there was a lot more NBA fun on the court during NBA All-Star Saturdayheld on the eve of this year’s All-Star Game. Here’s a look at all the winners from Saturday’s big event:
3 point competition
The 3-point contest was by far the hottest game in town during the competitive mix of NBA All-Star events on Saturday. Despite missing the current season due to an Achilles injury, the Portland Trail Blazers Damien Lillard showed up and showed up in the 3-Point Contest, edging out Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns to claim bragging rights behind the arc.
Slam Dunk
Miami Heat Keshad Johnson turned the most heads to win the 2026 Slam Dunk Contest, taking on the big air against Carter Bryant of the San Antonio Spurs in the final head-to-head match of the evening. Carter posted a perfect score on his first attempt, but fell short against Johnson’s ace stunts – which included a fluid between-the-legs move in a reverse dunk to seal the victory.
Shooting stars
on Saturday Shooting stars The event marked his welcome return to NBA All-Star weekend after an 11-year absence. A timed shooting competition between four teams of three players each, Shooting Stars showcases skills through an increasingly difficult challenge from across the field.
Each Shooting Stars team featured a good mix of current and past players, and for its return in 2026, it was Team Knicks (made up of New York Knicks legend Allan Houston as well as current stars Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns) who came out on top. The Knicks team looked effective in the final shootout of the evening against members of Team Cameron (made up of players with ties to Duke University), posting 47 points to Team Cameron’s 38 to pick up the decisive victory.
