SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — It’s only fitting that the NCAA men’s basketball tournament is commonly referred to as the “Big Dance.” In that case, this year’s theme song is also perfectly fitting.
Utah group “The National Parks” also “dances.”
This year’s theme song for the television coverage on CBS and other networks is a song called “Dance with Everybody” by Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors featuring The National Parks.

“Every time I hear it, I’m like, ‘Wait a second, how do I know this song?’” said Brady Parks, lead singer and guitarist for The National Parks. “It always surprises me. I’m always surprised to hear it.”
Brady told 2News’ Brian Schnee that the group recently found out the song would be used as part of basketball telecasts.
The group performed “Dance with Everybody” while touring with Drew Holcomb.
“He had this idea for a song and sent it to us and we did our part of the work on it and then we got to play it every night with them and it was really a celebration,” Parks said. “To know that this song lives on in this way and to feel connected to the big dance in some way, I’ve always dreamed of playing college basketball, so for me this is the closest I can get and it’s exciting.”
The National Parks are back on tour, with recent performances in Boise and Jackson Hole.
The band also has a large-scale outdoor concert planned for later this year in Utah, details of which have yet to be released.
