Tyler Reddick’s Daytona 500 victory was special to him in many ways. It ended a 38-race winless skid. Reddick’s six-month-old son Rookie, who has recovered after undergoing surgery for a kidney tumor in 2025, was also present at Victory Lane during the celebrations. There were other records for him, as well as notable moments for his team, 23XI Racing.
Reddick’s victory gave 23XI Racing and co-owner Michael Jordan their first victory in the Great American Race. The team also made back-to-back feature races following Bubba Wallace’s Brickyard 400 victory in 2025. 23XI also parked all three of its full-time drivers in the top 10 for the first time.

Regardingpilot n°45 is concerned, the victory also put him in a rare club that also includes Kyle Busch.
Reddick has now won at Daytona in all three NASCAR levels. His first Truck Series win came in 2015, and it happened at Daytona. At Xfinity, his first victory came at Kentucky Speedway in 2017, while his first win at Daytona came in 2018. Then came Sunday, when he sealed the Cup race at Daytona. Busch also had victories across the board. However, there is a small but big difference between the two.
“With his victory in Sunday’s #DAYTONA500, @TylerReddick joins @KyleBusch as the only driver to win a race in each of NASCAR’s national series at Daytona International Speedway. The only difference? All of Reddick’s victories have come in February,” posted journalist Joseph Srigley on X.
Yes, Reddick is the only driver to win a February race at Daytona in all three NASCAR divisions: Truck, Xfinity and Cup Series.

This was news even to Reddick, who did not know he had achieved this unique feat. “I was wondering that. Yeah, ever since I won the Xfinity race here, I was thinking I should take it back and win a Cup race here. Obviously the 500. It’s interesting,” he said.
“I was wondering if that was a thing or not, so I’m glad you told me. Something about February at Daytona suits me well. I really like racing here in the summer, too, obviously. It’s a lot smoother and the handling is a factor,” Reddick continued.
“But whether it’s the Truck race or this Xfinity race – sorry, the O’Reilly Auto Parts race a few years ago or today, the three days I entered the track, obviously three totally different phases of my life, in those three days something felt right, and it came true,” he added.
Reddick’s record-breaking story doesn’t end there. By winning the 2026 Daytona 500, Reddick also became the fourth driver to win the race by leading only the final lap. He, in fact, joins team co-owner Hamlin is the only other Toyota driver to achieve this feat.
