Tennessee (14-0) deserved its second consecutive number one ranking Tuesday during the 2026 softball season. The Lady Vols are ranked No. 1 in the standings NFCA/GoRout Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll.
The Lady Vols will play this week at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium for the first time in 2026, hosting the Tennessee Invitational.

Tennessee opens play against Appalachian State on Friday. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. EST (SEC Network+). The Lady Vols will also face State of Pennsylvania Friday (5:30 p.m. EST, SEC Network+).
Tennessee and the Nittany Lions will play again on Saturday at 3 p.m. EST. The Lady Vols will face North Carolina Central in their second game Saturday (5:30 p.m. EST). Both games can be watched on SEC Network+.
The Lady Vols will conclude the Tennessee Invitational game against Appalachian State on March 1. First pitch is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. EST (SEC Network+).
