We recently devoted a decent number of words to players who have improved their fantastic football stock The regular season closing weeks And During the playoffsWhile ignoring the fact that, in fact, everyone in the league cannot take care simultaneously.
For each player who gets a boost in the rows, others must slide.
Today’s mission is to identify some fantastic brand brand stars that may fall into very different ADP ranges in 2025. In some cases, these price reductions are entirely reasonable. But other players – such as this first gentleman – do not really deserve the ranking relocation, although it nevertheless happens …
Ceedee lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys
Lamb has just delivered his third consecutive season with 100 helping hands, ending with 1,194 reception yards and six affected despite a large part of his year with the combined effects of injuries and Cooper Rush. He missed the last two weeks of the season, but has always finished as a global WR9.
If the first simulations and the ranks can trust (obviously, they cannot, but pretend), Lamb is not guaranteed the status of first round this year, despite its heroic performance in 2024 in terrible circumstances. Let us simply remember that he will be back in Dak Prescott at the controls of a very focused offense on the lamb, with stability a little / a kind in coach staff. He did nothing to deserve the withdrawal of the upper level of the position.
Tyreek Hill, WR, Miami Dolphins
Ok, Hill actually did a few things to justify the withdrawal of the first (and perhaps the second) level to the receiver. He seemed quite disgusted from the Miami season in general and its use specificallyWhich is of course understandable. After directing the NFL by receiving a footage in 2023, he finished with 840 less yards last year while playing in an additional match. Not great.
It did not help Tagu Tagovailoa missed six weeks and Hill himself played a wrist injury all season, so let’s not assume that he is cooked. But he also enters his 31 year season and is clearly no longer the centerpiece of his team’s offensive. Hill is no longer really in the conversation in the first round, and It is not locked to be selected in the secondeither.
Christian McCaffrey, RB, San Francisco 49ers
CMC comes out of a disaster season of all time in fantasy, which could of course have been attenuated by a little honesty of his head coach. Alas. We will certainly not be able to trust optimistic off -season reports linked to its lower limbs. Suppose it is a little broken until you really see it active in the field.
However, we should note that if McCaffrey do Manage to participate fully in a normal off -season program, then its name cannot be excluded from the RB1 conversation. He finished as fantasy among the first three in four different seasons, including two as the top global scorer in the position.
However, if we were writing a list of fantasy in 2025 at the moment, today (which would be a terrible idea), CMC would not deserve serious consideration in the first eight choices.
Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets
The Hall argument as a high -end option last year was based on three essential points:
-
The New York offensive was going to be massively improved;
-
Hall himself was going to be even better and more efficient, another year withdrawn from LCA surgery;
-
It was going to be the undisputed full load presented for the jets.
Unfortunately, none of these things was entirely exact. Hall was not as effective on a key basis, he caught fewer passes, did not have to have so many missed plates and he won fewer yards after contact. In addition, the Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis recruits were just good enough to emerge like nuisances.
The jets go towards a difficult and uncertain offset, so last summer vibrations are a distant memory. Hall could settle in the third round in terms of ADP, a district in which the available receivers are likely to be more attractive than runners.
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, QB and Te, heads of Kansas City
Two of the grown -ups of all time in their respective positions are now heading in their fifth appearance of the Super Bowl as a teammates. Mahomes has finished twice when the QB1 Global and Kelce have absolutely ruled the final position tight in the last decade, ranking among the first three at each season from 2016 to 2023.
Despite their individual stories and their scandalous team success, none of the players was a manufacturer of difference in fantasy in 2024. Kansas City was a relentless and well -balanced team that manages to do Exactly Everything you need to win matches, without registering. Mahomes is among the best and most inventive quarters of the history of the game, but he has just released a regular season during which he has an average of 245.5 yards in a career per match and 6.8 per attempt.
Kelce produced another elite reception total last year (97), but he converted all these catches into just 823 yards and three scores. In addition, he will be 36 years old in October and he runs like a tripping father in an inflatable castle.
We simply cannot write one of these legends in the first five laps in 2025, except in score formats which promote their positions. Not that one or the other cares about such things, because They clearly have more objectives immediately in advance.
