According to the report, a number of parties remain interested in the package.
This is the latest example of a current trend. The league is finding additional games that can be sold outside of the confines of current packages, with streamers like YouTube and Netflix getting a partial seat at the table.
For its first NFL broadcast, YouTube streamed the Week 1 2025 game between the Chiefs and Chargers from Brazil, via a free global stream.
The centerpiece of the supplemental package is the Australia game between the 49ers and Rams. It is scheduled to be played on Wednesday September 9 or Thursday September 10.
