The Raiders hire John Glenn as a second coach, Tom Pelisero of the NFL Media Reports.
Glenn was assistant coach of Washington special teams last season.
He finds the head coach of the raiders, Pete Carroll, while Glenn worked as a coach of the Carroll seconds for six seattle seasons. He leaves the head coach of commanders Dan Quinn, who was the defensive coordinator of the Seahawks with Glenn.
Glenn joined the Seahawks in 2012 as a special team assistant. He obtained a promotion to the defensive quality control coach in 2014 and continued to work until it became coach of the seconds in 2018. He held this role with Seattle throughout the 2023 season.
He entered the League after having spent two seasons (2010-11) as a quality control coach of the University of Washington and three seasons as a seconds coach for the North Carolina Wesleyan College (2006 -08).
