Unforeseen, the new Ligue 3 against 3, is the last chance for the duo to train together during the offseason. They have trained in Las Vegas in the past, because the two spend time there, living a few minutes from each other.

“We can train together and I can also spend time with legend and Amaya,” said Burrell about Hamby’s two children. “The development of this relationship helped when we were together in Los Angeles. We mainly pass every day together during the offseason. »»

Burrell, like many invocation players, appreciated that she had the chance to stay in the United States during the offseason and not to go abroad to play. She played in Australia and Belgium in the past, but this year, she was at home for the holidays with her family.

Her game improves because she is third in her team unrivaled in points per minute. Hamby directs the vinyl team in points.

“Rae is one of the (sparkles) young dynamic pieces that we are looking to build,” said Hamby. “So, so that she continues to play during the offseason and trust and develop chemistry between us and our other teammates, this is a good opportunity for our team.”

Burrell hopes that his game in Miami takes place in Los Angeles this spring. Burrell will start its fourth season with the Sparks. She started seven games last year.

“Certainly during the offseason, I always try to work on my game and it is one of the things that will help me do it,” she said.
