Emma Raducanu has withdrawn from her first round match against Camila Osorio at the Qatar Open, two days after losing the final of the Transylvania Open.
The British number one called the coach to have her blood pressure taken after she was broken at the start of the third set, and after losing 2-0 in the decider to Colombian Osorio, she withdrew.

Raducanu won the first set 6-2 before conceding the second 6-4.
On Saturday, the 23-year-old competed in her first final since her triumph at the 2021 US Open, but was beaten in just over an hour by Sorana Cirstea at the Transylvania Open.
Raducanu also had her blood pressure taken during that match, and later revealed that her fitness had been affected because she was “battling a small chest infection.”
Raducanu started strong against Osario, opening a 3-0 lead before securing the first set 6-2.
Osario showed signs of a comeback late in the first set and her revival continued in the second as she earned her first break of the match to take a 3-2 lead.

Osario forced Raducanu to make mistakes and she closed the second set 6-4 when the Briton hit a long forehand.
After saving two break points early in the deciding set, Raducanu was broken again when she failed to chase down a drop shot, before calling for the coach.
Raducanu returned to action briefly, but after Osario consolidated her break, the Briton walked to the net to inform the referee that she was withdrawing from the match.
Raducanu has been plagued by injuries and has struggled to find consistency on the WTA Tour since her arrival. historic victory at the US Open.
In October, Raducanu retired in the first round of the Wuhan Open after having his blood pressure and temperature taken by the doctor.

In January, she separated from her last trainer, Francis Roig, after an elimination in the second round of the Australian Open.
The Spaniard Roig, with whom she had worked since the summer of 2025, was the ninth person to coach Raducanu since 2021.
