Seasons as special teams coordinator
-
2020: Patriots (1st in DVOA)
Cameron Achord spent the last two years with the New York Giants as the team’s assistant special teams coach, but was not retained by new head coach John Harbaugh in 2026. Achord also served as an assistant special teams coach for two seasons (2018 to 2019) to begin his NFL career before being promoted to special teams coordinator in New England in 2020, when he replaced Joe Judge, who was hired to be the Giants’ head coach.
Achord’s career got off to a hot start, as the Patriots were the top special teams DVOA team in 2020, before finishing on average 26th over his final three years in New England, a rarity under head coach Bill Belichick. For what it’s worth, Bisaccia’s units averaged a 21st-place finish during his four years in Green Bay.
