In the official statement, the streaming service said the anthem was recorded over two days in Nashville. As part of this process, Toprak worked closely with the “Thursday Night Football” production team with the goal of “creating a thrilling and inspiring score.”
Quotes from Toprak and Amazon describe the song using the word “timeless,” which is an important part of a theme that will likely accompany Amazon’s NFL broadcasts throughout the lifespan of the partnership, which will last at least 11 seasons.
Toprak’s creation is the first new theme song for an NFL package rights holder since John Williams composed the theme for NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” in 2006.
