Previous Draft Mock Spot:N° 3
Comparison of the pros: Harrison Barnes
Zaccharie Risacher’s shooting consistency has kept him in the draft race for most of the season. But he’s started to cool off lately. Since Jan. 20, he’s made just 17 of 62 three-pointers (27.4 percent). And now it’s worth considering whether his 69.4 percent free-throw percentage is more telling than his early-season three-point accuracy or the fact that he wasn’t known for his advanced shooting before joining the club.
Still, at 18, the eye test will carry more weight, and Risacher appears to be a clear NBA-level shooter with excellent positional size, athleticism for finishing in the open court, and defensive/coverage quickness. The most common and plausible projection shows a quality shooter capable of scoring off the ball.
