The 2025 NBA Cup ended as New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 124-113.

The in-season NBA tournament is growing in popularity, and it’s partly due to the quality of the finals game. The Knicks trailed for most of the game, but used a dominant fourth quarter to earn the comeback victory.

Although it was a team victory, one player was recognized as tournament MVP, and others were recognized and added to the all-tournament team.

Which players were rewarded for their efforts during the Cup? See the full breakdown of MVP and All-Tournament honors below.

In the championship game, Brunson finished with 25 points on 11-27 shooting. He also added four rebounds, eight assists and two blocks to his stat line.

This is the first NBA trophy and individual award given to Brunson. So far in his professional career, he has been named an All-Star twice and to the All-NBA Second Team twice.

Brunson joins LeBron James (2023) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (2024) as NBA Cup MVPs.

2025 NBA Cup All-Tournament Team

With Brunson winning the NBA Cup MVP, he headlined the All-Tournament team this year. There was another Knicks player to make the All-Tournament team, as Karl-Anthony Towns was also recognized for his performance.

De’Aaron Fox of runner-up Spurs made the All-Tournament team, as did Lakers And Thunder stars Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

How the NBA Cup MVP and All-Tournament Team are selected

As for voting for all tournaments, full results can be found here. Brunson was the only unanimous selection with 20 votes, while Gilgeous-Alexander had 18 and Towns had 12. Desmond Bane of Magic of Orlando was the first to get votes, with eight picks, to not make the All-Tournament team.
