NASCAR officials handed part-time driver Gray Gaulding an indefinite suspension Wednesday night.
The Charlotte (North Carolina) Mecklenburg Sheriff’s Department listed Gaulding among its arrest records Tuesday. According to department records, the Cornelius Police Department arrested Gaulding Tuesday morning on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. Gaulding was released from custody later that afternoon.
Gaulding has made 158 career starts in NASCAR’s three national series, including none this year.
His most recent start came in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway in August 2023.
