Tyler Reddick’s last-lap pass to win Sunday’s Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead changed the team’s complexion. NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.
Reddick now joins Joey Logano in Championship 4, while Kyle Larson slides below the cut line. Larson’s spin with 13 laps remaining while racing for the lead produced the late-race pit stop and restart that helped Reddick, who had just stopped for tires before the yellow flag, to take the lead and ultimately achieve victory.
Ryan Blaney and Chase Elliott have resigned themselves to virtual win-or-else scenarios at Martinsville next weekend, the final race before the final four are narrowed down.
