THE Dishes traded right-handed Cooper Criswell to the Mariners for cash considerations, Seattle announced Friday.
Criswell, who was designated for assignment by the Mets earlier this week, was demanded waivers of the Red Sox in December.

He joined the Red Sox in 2024, recording a 4.08 ERA with 73 strikeouts in 26 appearances (99.1 innings) as both a rotation and long relief option.
Last season, however, was much less kind to Criswell. The 29-year-old spent a lot of time in Triple-A Worcester, appearing in just seven MLB games before suffering a season-ending elbow injury in August.
Since his big league debut in 2021, Criswell owns a 4.48 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with 113 strikeouts in 45 appearances (145.1 innings). He had no options left in the minor leagues.
