Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets stunned the Los Angeles Lakers at the final buzzer to steal Game 2 and take a 2-0 series lead against Los Angeles after maintaining home-court advantage. Murray struggled shooting the ball all night, but had the ball in his hands with the game on the line and delivered for Mile High City.
It was far from a perfect night for Denver, but they put together a perfect finish despite a slow start to the evening. The Lakers came out for the second straight game and took an early lead thanks to a hot shot from D’Angelo Russell that rebounded after a 1/9 three-point shooting performance in Game 1.
