Kings unveil Classic Edition retro jerseys for 2024-25 season originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
The Kings return to celebrate their 40th season in Sacramento throughout the 2024-25 NBA season.
On Monday, Sacramento, with the help of franchise legends Doug Christie and Mike Bibby, unveiled its 2024-25 Nike Classic Edition uniform, which pays homage to the Kings’ original road uniform worn from 2002-08.
The uniform features the popular “Sacramento” logo in an arc above off-center numbers, with black and white side panels on the jerseys and shorts.
The Kings’ secondary “SK” logo, worn from 1994 to 2014, is sewn on the right side of the shorts.
Sacramento will wear the new Classic Edition uniforms eight times this season, debuting them at Golden 1 Center on Nov. 24 against the Brooklyn Nets.
Kings fans will also be able to see the returning sons in action against the Oklahoma City Thunder November 25, The Los Angeles Lakers December 19 and 21, Indiana Pacers December 22, Washington Wizards January 19, Golden State Warriors January 22 and Charlotte Hornets February 24th.
A commemorative logo has been also revealed by the team, which combines the Kings’ purple, black and gray colors with the highlighted ball and secondary crown logo from their 2016-17 rebrand.
