Manhattan – After evaluating Kansas stategame film of his victory on UCF, Coach Chris Klieman admitted that he and coaches staff had been lifted since the early hours of the morning to study Baylor’s offensive, knowing that the Wildcats had a high task in front of them.
Baylor has the best pass attack throughout university football. Its offense, as a whole, is on average more than 500 yards per game.

The Kansas State (2-3, 1-1 Big 12) will travel to play Baylor (3-2, 1-1 Big 12) Saturday October 4 for a match at 11 a.m. in Waco, Texas.
“They click on all cylinders,” said Klieman. “”He is not a person. Their quarterrier makes them leave, but it’s a variety of guys. We do not want to enter the 1940s and have a shooting with them, and you know that you will not have a 10-6 match against these guys. “”
The defense of the state of Kansas comes from its best part in its 34-20 victory against the UCF, but that could have been better. The Wildcats were dominant defensively until the end of the second quarter, when they abandoned their first of several explosive pieces which kept the knights at a distance from the strike. K-State should have won more comfortably.
Kansas State has just released its worst tackle performance
Pro Football Focus has classified the performances of the Wildcats against the UCF as the worst that it was all year round. The website has lowered the group for 13 missed plated, with four runners ending with a failed tackle rate of 50% or more.

“The most important thing is that when we get a guy in a position to make a long -term tackle and we miss the tackle,” said Klieman. “When you play very good offenses that exactly know where they push the ball, and we don’t make the tackle, big games occur, and it was frustrating.”
This could be a problem given that Baylor’s Ballon Ball bearer, Bryson Washington, is among the country’s leaders in yards on the ground after contact. He obtained 5.3 yards per attempt, with about 3.5 yards to come after contact. He forced 21 missed plated, tied to the 15th plus in the country.
Similar problems could arise in secondary school, where Baylor receptors are ranked strongly in the YAC categories. Kole Wilson and Ashtyn Hawkins rank in the top 20, while Josh Cameron and Michael Trigg are among the first 10 to force missed plated.
Kansas statement has improved almost every week
The secondary school in the Wildcats received its highest notes of the season, but it is in its biggest test against Baylor.

The PFF made high remarks to Gunner Maldonado and qui Moss, which were both interceptions, and granted three captures for eight yards on eight targets between the two. Overall, the defense granted 13 passes out of 26 for 197 yards and a score.
Baylor excels in the creation of explosive parts offensively
The greatest criticism of the defense of the state of K against the UCF was the number of large parts it has enabled. The 82-yard pass pass abandoned on a blown blanket before the end of the first half was the first of the six authorized games of 30 or more yards.
“We abandon too many explosive games in defense, and we don’t get so in attack,” said Klieman. “We cannot abandon the amount of explosive pieces that we are on the defensive side.”

As you imagine, Baylor excels in the category of explosive games. Last week against Oklahoma State, the Bears succeeded in six passes for 25 or more yards, when they had three rushs for 15 or more yards. They had 18 passes in total for over 25 years this season, with 11 rushes for 15 or more.
Baylor QB Sawyer Robertson turns into hope for the draft of the NFL
Redsirt-Senior Sawyer Robertson is among the best quarters of the country, leading the country with 342.6 yards per game per game per and 17 affected.
He took the Bears departure post at the start of the 2024 season after the transfer of the state of the Mississippi. During the offseason, ESPN labeled it as a draft sleeper from the NFLCiting his size at 6 feet 4 inches, 220 pounds and a strong arm. Athletics wrote in mid-September That he was one of the surprises at the start of the season, saying that NFL scouts should take a look when he had previously been considered late hope.

Baylor authorizes the bags, turns the ball over
If there has been a weakness for Baylor’s offensive, it is the number of bags that it is authorized and the handful of reversals it is given.
Baylor abandons 1.8 bags per game. The offensive line was poorly rated in its first season game against Auburn, and improved for the next three games. Last week, one stepped back during the authorization of 12 pressures, eight coming from the right side of the offensive line.
With a lot of drops, the state of kansas should have the possibility of obtaining after Robertson.
“I have the impression that we have a lot of dawgs on our defensive line, and this week is really a week to simply unleash us,” said defender Tobi Osunsanmi. “I have the impression that we just need to really reduce it and really affect the quarter of the passage game.”

The Bears also take a misconduct from the ball, already abandon it eight times and already have one of the worst turnover of the country. In three of the five games, the Bears have abandoned several reversals. They lost five escaped, most of which were lost by the receptors.
