A Georgia Bulldogs disengagement means having doubts about your signed letter of intent. Class of 2026 four-star receiver Brady Marchese, who transferred from Georgia to Michigan Wolverinesrequested to be released from his letter of intent.
Part of that could be due to Michigan’s new head coaching hire. Outgoing head coach Sherrone Moore was fired after a major off-field controversy, and the Wolverines hired former Utah head coach Kyle Whittinghamgiving him a five-year contract to become Michigan’s new head coach.

Still, it’s another strange twist in Marchese’s recruiting journey. He first committed to Georgia as early as March 2025, and even with an early push from Michigan, he stuck with his commitment to the Bulldogs, stop recruiting.
However, with the early signing period beginning on December 4, 2025, Marchese reversed his commitment from Georgia to Michigan. He signed a contract with the Wolverines, but 22 days later Marchese was released from his contract.
The 6-foot-1, 183-pound wide receiver plays high school football for Cartersville High School alongside three-star Wake Forest signee Langston Hogg, who plays on the offensive line. He also plays with 2027 four-star linebacker Cole Crawford, who Georgia is targeting. Marchese was the No. 20 receiver and No. 134 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
