During the first week of the WNBA season, Caitlin Clark found itself in more wars of words.
One day after her and the Indiana fever Angel Reese and the Chicago sky, the WNBA began to investigate “hateful comments” reports to Reese by fever fans who were ultimately “uninated”.
When the WNBA announced that the claims were not true, the American senator Jim Banks, R-Ind., Called the WNBA to apologize to fever fans and the Indiana residents.

Speaking with Fox News Digital, the Governor of Indiana Braun stressed the importance of Clark, fever and Indiana Pacers finals in the NBA in his state. When Clark’s subject took place in the discussion, Braun hoped that the apparent hatred against Clark, and throughout the association and its fans, could end, while storing with banks.
“I am the one who has absolutely a zero tolerance for fanaticism and intimidation and everything that comes with all this discussion. When comments are made, which does not make sense … When it is offline, you must recognize it. So, I agree with Senator Banks there, and I hope there will not be one,” said Braun.
Although the WNBA has investigated reports of verbal attacks on Reese, the WNBA did not investigate a viral video by Britttney Griner in which many people on social networks believe that it called Clark “trash” and a “white girl F — ING”.
Griner’s video emerged shortly after Griner committed a fault against fever on a questionable fault in a match in which Clark and Griner, who play two distinct positions, were hardly close to the other. Others say that Griner really called the referee or the call that was made “bin”, adding that it was a “F — ING call”.
In any case, the video was an online hot topic and the WNBA did not act. Braun said that if the WNBA was investigating what was determined to be false allegations of hate speech against Reese, he should examine Griner.

The WNBA refuses to grant Outkick media skills securities; What does the league hide?
“I don’t think there is a place for that. I think Caitlin has done things for the league itself where it should be adopted. I think, if something has presented talent through this league. You should be grateful, without launching comments that could indicate the opposite,” said Braun.
“Yes, I think that if there was an overview of what Angel Reese does, I think it would be good to put this at rest too. And I hope it will come out, because it is not good, no matter where it comes.”
Braun admitted that he “had not given as much attention” to women’s basketball before Clark arrives in his state “, but I have a lot recently.”
“She sells the Gainbridge Arena as the Pacers Doing, and his team, “said Braun.” And the more I watch the games, they are also competitive, in many more cases, in terms of scrap and talent. We are lucky that Caitlin ended up in the basketball state. It has rekindled a large part of this spirit to college and secondary levels. Caitlin has been a wonderful addition, and it is in good condition.
