Recently, an old incident resurfaced between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. This is a subject on which the Spaniard does not agree with the Swiss maestro regarding the scheduling of events. Rafa was annoyed by the number of tournaments players had to play and found it too taxing.

On the other hand, the Swiss ace didn’t make a fuss about the schedule, which made Nadal a little bored. The Spaniard spoke on this subject at the time and declared, “No, I don’t agree at all. For him, it’s good not to say anything. Everything is positive. ‘Everything is fine with me, I look like a gentleman,’ and others can get burned. Everyone has the right to their opinion.”
Rafael Nadal had majority support against Roger Federer
By then, Nadal had made his disapproval of the schedule clear. He thought some things could be changed. A majority of players expressed a similar opinion to the Spaniard, which made the 13-time French Open champion feel more confident in his position.

The man from Mallorca added: “That doesn’t mean there are certain things on the tour that could change. The tour is good, but there are some things that are bad. That’s all we’re saying. And the vast majority of players have the same opinion. He has a different opinion… if the vast majority has an opinion and a small minority thinks differently, maybe they’re the ones who are wrong.”
When it comes to tennis, Federer and Nadal have decided to end their season early. They both suffered injuries and needed treatment to get back into shape. We hope to see them again at their best on the Tour during the 2022 season.
