Nascar returns to its roots on Sunday with the Cook Out Clash at the Bowman Gray Stadium, which for the last time hosted an event in the CUP series over 50 years ago.

After three years on a short temporary track at Los Angeles Coliseum, Nascar moved the confrontation on the 0.25 mile track in Winston-Salem, in North Carolina, known as “The Madhouse”.

It is the 47th series of the confrontation and the fourth consecutive year that the event takes place outside Daytona International Speedway, which was the host from 1979 to 2021.
