Malik Nabers appeared on the New York Giants‘ THURSDAY injury reportthree days before the team faces the Washington Commanders in week 2.
The receiver was considered limited in practice due to a knee injury.
Nabers made his NFL debut last week in the Giants’ 28-6 loss to the Vikings. Nabers caught five balls on seven targets for 66 yards.
“It went really well,” he said after Thursday’s practice. “You know, I was able to move a lot.”
With Nabers’ status for Week 2 up in the air, the Giants got some good news on the wide receiver front. Darius Slayton Slayton took part in Thursday’s practice wearing a non-contact jersey. Slayton was placed in the concussion protocol and was also listed as a limited participant.
