TULSA, Okla. – TULSA, Okla. – The Georgia Tech men’s tennis team closed out the ITA All-American Championship on Tuesday, with two doubles pairs playing in consolation matches.
The 42nd-ranked duo of Nate Bonetto and Gabrielle Brancatelli earned their first victory as a newly formed doubles duo on Tuesday, claiming a straight-set victory over Tulsa’s Luis Felipe Miguel and Adam Bojkovic, winning 6-0, 7-5.
Krish Arora and Richard Biagiotti, ranked 56th in the latest ITA poll, also earned a consolation victory, beating Ethan Silva and Grant Lothringer of Texas A&M, 6-3, 7-5.
The Yellow Jackets failed to qualify for the main draw and concluded the tournament. Tech will return to action on Oct. 10 for the ITA Southeast Regionals, hosted by UCF.
