After helping Ferris State win another NCAA Division II championship, Carson Gulker has bigger plans for his final year of eligibility.
The Zeeland West graduate has committed to Michigan State.
Gulker, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound tight end/fullback totaled 541 rushing yards, 548 receiving yards, 141 passing yards and 13 total touchdowns during his redshirt junior season with the Bulldogs.

He scored a touchdown in the NCAA Division II championship game last month, the Bulldogs’ fourth national title in the last five seasons.
Ferris State’s Carson Gulker has committed to Michigan State for his final year of eligibility.
Gulker, who was an all-state quarterback at Zeeland West, follows in the footsteps of his former Ferris State teammate Trinidad Chambliss, who played at Ole Mademoiselle this season.
They separated last year before Gulker broke his leg.
