KANSAS City Chiefs star player Travis Kelce has purchased a stunning new property just outside of his home base – and fans think they know why.
Travis recently purchased the 17,000-square-foot mansion, located in a suburb of Leawood, Kansas, not far from his team’s stadium, for $6 million.
The property offers Travis and his famous girlfriend, Taylor Swift, 3.5 acres of land, a private cul-de-sac, and plenty of trees to block off. view strangers.
The home features six bedrooms and six bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, formal dining room, media lounge, wine cellar and full bar.
It also includes an expansive swimming pool and terrace, tennis court, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and miniature golf course.
The actor’s closer made a deal on the house – it was listed for nearly $1 million higher last year, according to Realtor.com.
Although Travis already owns a 4,200-square-foot home in Kansas City’s Briarcliff West neighborhood that he purchased in 2019, the player’s new digs offer a lot more privacy.
Travis also owns other high-end homes, like his $355,000 condo in Orlando, Florida.
It has two magnificent bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a panoramic balcony offering unparalleled views.
So why did the famous player opt for another mansion in Kansas City?
Fans believe Travis wanted to be able to have more intimacy with his girlfriend, Taylor, whose relationship has been a hot topic in the tabloids.
News of the two becoming a topic broke in September 2022, and the couple has been followed by the paparazzi ever since.
Travis traveled to Argentina to support his billionaire girlfriend on one of her recent tour stops, and images of the pair holding hands immediately appeared online.
Taylor performed to a sold-out stadium after canceling a concert the day before.
And Taylor also appears to be on the lookout for new properties.
As Taylor’s international appeal continues to grow alongside her bank balance, the 34-year-old is looking to invest in some of Europe’s most desirable locations for real estate.
Although she already owns up to $80 million worth of homes in places like London, New York, Los Angeles and Tennessee, the star is reportedly considering new homes in Portugal, Spain and Morocco.
