These days, Enes Kanter Freedom’s NBA career is over. This does not mean, however, that the old center has disappeared from public attention.

Write on X, formerly known as Twitter, Freedom wrote that “Men have no place in women’s spaces. Restrooms, locker rooms or sports” and wondered where the outrage would be if he donned a wig, identified as a woman and joined the NBA. The big man also appeared on Fox News‘ America’s Newsroom to discuss the subject.

So what exactly did he say? And what was the reaction online?

Let’s look at this.

Freedom thinks about putting on a wig

Enes Kanter Freedom thinks he would dominate the WNBA

On August 11, Enes Kanter Freedom took to social media and posted a viral message.

“Men have no place in spaces reserved for women. Toilets, locker rooms or sports,” he wrote on @NBAshould I put on a wig, identify myself as a woman and start dominating the @WNBA? Is this when the outrage will begin? Is this fair to all women who have spent their entire lives pursuing their goals? Where are all the women’s rights activists and feminists?!”

That tweet received three million views and earned the former NBA center an appearance on Fox News to discuss the topic.

Enes Kanter Freedom comes up with the idea of donning a wig, renaming himself “Eneshia” and pretending he’s a woman to force the WNBA to sign him to make an anti-trans athlete statement.

“Maybe I should do it and it will show my point, actually. I’ll average 60 points.” pic.twitter.com/IODvvEgoVy

– Justin Baragona (@justinbaragona) August 15, 2023

“I mean, I’ve had a lot of support,” Freedom said. “I mean, would that be fair? You know, I’m seven feet tall and 270 pounds, and if I decided to identify as a woman and play in the WNBA, I would put on a wig and change my name to , just say “Enesha”, would that be fair to all the women, you know, who have been chasing their dreams since they were little? That’s what I’m saying. Like, where are all the activists of the women’s rights? Where are all the feminists, you know, who should take up this cause first?”

And if Freedom ended up in the WNBA, how fair would it be? He was asked exactly this question.

“I mean, if I’m allowed in, I’ll average 60 points and 30 rebounds,” he added.

On Tuesday, August 15, Freedom also posted another tweet on the subject, including an image of his face added to Wilt Chamberlain’s iconic 100-point game photo.

I identify as a woman! Lol

From now on you can all call me
ENISHA Freedom.
I am a 7 foot, 270 pound biological male who is interested in participating in women’s sports. ????????‍♂️

Basketball fans were ready to make jokes about Freedom’s skills.

As his comments made the rounds on social media, numerous tweets were posted. proof and take their opinions into account. User X, for example, agreed with Freedom and his statement.

Exactly. The WNBA is completely hypocritical.

No one stood up for high school girls or professional female athletes who are now forced to play against male athletes.

They are all cowards and should be ashamed of themselves.

Many basketball fans, however, insisted on his statistical assertion.

“I’m begging the wnba to bring in Enes Kanter. A’ja Wilson would have that Fox Subscriber of the nation in the torture chamber”, user Schrempf Dreadlef tweeted. “Please switch to Chelsea Gray on the perimeter and finish on all fours like you dropped something under the couch.”

Elsewhere on X, user ASK the Truth shared an NBA graphic of Donovan Mitchell’s 71-point game. It was accompanied by the message “Sabrina Ionescu when she sees Enes Kanter trying to guard a pick n roll”, suggesting the big man would be overmatched in the WNBA.

User You’d get screwed at the college dance.” “.

You have not been blackballed. You just can’t play base defense. You’d get cooked in the WNBA too, dude.

Damn, you’d get screwed at the college dance.
