Kansas City, Mo. – Carlos Estévez joined the Kansas City Liberals enclosure on Friday, finalizing a $ 22 million dollars contract with the Royals.
The agreement includes a club option for 2027. The inner field player Braden Shewmake was appointed for assignment to make way for Estévez on the list of 40 men of the team.
Estévez, 32, played for the Los Angeles Angels and Philadelphia last season, going 4-5 with an MPM of 2.45 and 26 stops in 54 appearances. He was exchanged at the Phillies in July.
Estévez helped Philadelphia to win the NL East, but he sold the decisive Grand Chelem of Francisco Lindor for the food in match 4 of the series of the National League division.
Estévez was a star with the angels two years ago, going 5-5 with an MPM of 3.90 in 63 appearances this season.
Shewmake was claimed from the White Sox derogations on January 8. Shewmake was a choice of first round of the Braves in the 2019 amateur draft, but he is a striker of .118 with a circuit and four points produced in 31 big career games.
