Bruce Feldman made an appearance Saturday morning on FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff.” Feldman addressed the topic of the week on his show, which was the NCAA’s ongoing investigation into allegations of illicit sign-stealing against Michigan under Jim Harbaugh.
According to the latest reports, the NCAA is already in Ann Arbor to review electronics and meet the Wolverine coaching staff. Feldman reports that the timing of the investigation is the biggest unknown, but he believes the NCAA is trying to move faster than the traditional pace it is known for.
“The timing of this investigation is the big unknown. It seems like the NCAA is trying to move faster than the usual glacial pace they usually operate at,” Feldman said. “Now the Big Ten has room to impose discipline before the NCAA misrepresents its investigation.”
“Over the past week, I have interviewed over 30 coaches across the country and almost all of them feel that, if the reports are accurate, this seems very damning for the Wolverines.”@BruceFeldmanCFB shares the latest on sign-stealing investigations in Michigan ⬇️ pic.twitter.com/BinDwQqFzS

As for the perception of the investigation, Feldman said he has spoken with more than 30 coaches around the country. The majority of these coaches find the evidence presented “damning” for Michigan.
“Over the past week, I have interviewed over 30 coaches across the country and almost all of them believe that, if the information is accurate, it seems very damning for the Wolverines,” Feldman said.
He also cited a head coach who claimed Michigan should be punished for the “sheer stupidity” of the operation if the reported allegations were true:
“A Group of 5 head coach told me yesterday that he was just baffled that they left such a paper trail in this matter,” Feldman said. “‘Somehow they should be held accountable for their simple stupidity.’ That’s how bad it all looks for the Wolverines right now. »
