Devin Booker became the top scorer of the head points of the Phoenix Suns against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday – but it was not enough to win the victory.
Booker exceeded the list of scores of the game with 34 points to exceed the total of the legend of Suns, Walter Davis, 15,666.
However, he missed a frank throw at the end of overtime that would have leveled the match, Portland claiming a close victory of 121-119.
Booker reached the milestone with a three -point pointer in the third trimester, causing a warm reception of the crowd of Portland, before tightening his family on the key to the next step.
The quadruple All-Star has spent his entire career in The Suns, making 642 appearances since he was the 13th choice in total in the draft of 2015.
Davis, an all-star six times, played 766 matches for Phoenix between 1977 and 1988.
Elsewhere, Jalen Brunson scored 42 points while the New York Knicks overthrew a 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Houston Rockets 124-118.
Oklahoma City Thunder has extended its advance at the western conference with a 125-96 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander obtained a score with 34 points for the Thunder, which led by 44 points at a given time to the third quarter.
