The Indiana Fever has been the most talked about team in the WNBA over the past two seasons.
The addition of Caitlin Clark in 2024 has done wonders for the organization. Ticket sales, television audiences and jersey sales have all increased exponentially.

This year, they reached the semifinals of the WNBA playoffs despite losing Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, Aari McDonald and Chloe Bibby to season-ending injuries.
They lost in a winner-take-all Game 5 to the Las Vegas Aces, who went on to win the WNBA title. The loss came in overtime and the score was 107-98.
On Wednesday’s edition of the “Post Moves with Candace Parker & Aliyah Boston” podcast, Aces coach Becky Hammon was the guest.

Hammon revealed his true feelings about the Fever after playing them, the Seattle Storm and the Phoenix Mercury.
“Indiana was probably the toughest series I’ve been through,” Hammon said. “And you know what? It’s funny, Aliyah (Boston), you’re sitting there, but it’s like I was pissed after Game 5. I’m sure you were even more pissed off. But we’re going to the finals, but then I came back and I watched it. CT calls me, Candace (Parker), at like 3 in the morning. She’s like, are you still mad? And I was like, no. I’m like, Indiana just played their (expletive) off.”

Hammon then added that Boston and her Fever teammates “played wonderful.”
“You played unbelievable. I can’t be mad at either team. It was just two teams, shot for shot, back and forth. And both teams were really playing at an elite level. I don’t care about the names on the jerseys. They were two teams that were going about it the best way possible, I thought. Super competitive, all the way, obviously, in most of these games. And so this one, this one hit differently, of course, because it was different.
