Following a banner year in which the program won its first-ever ACC tournament title, the Virginia Tech men’s basketball team announced its game promotions and theme days for the 2022-23 season.

Hokies return to preseason All-ACC pick Justin Mutts and guards Hunter cat, Darius Maddox And Sean Pedullaand add a stretch of 6 feet 9 inches five Grant Basile from Wright State with several announced freshmen.

Cassell Coliseum will once again be buzzing this winter and will feature a multitude of halftime acts, promotions and exciting themes. The program will include several themed games including 80s Night, Military Appreciation, Family Friday, Gobbler Game Night, Coaches vs. Cancer, Popcorn Bucket Giveaway and more.
Color-specific matchups return and are among some of the best matchups the site will see, including a Black Out vs. Duke, Maroon Out vs. Virginia, and White out vs. Miami.
