London Jemison, a 2025 four-star wing from Connecticut who received a scholarship offer of Syracuse Basketball in late September, said in an interview that he talks “a lot” with the Orange coaching staff.
The 6-foot-8 Jemison is a rising prospect in his class which is rated four stars and among the top 150 nationally by several recruiting services. At this point in his recruiting process, he holds more than 15 offers from top programs in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Big East Conference and other leagues.
Recently, Jemison conducted an interview with fantastic recruitment service Pro Insight, where he discussed his recruitment, his team and individual goals, what he’s working hard on in regards to improving his skills and other topics.
Jemison, a native of Bloomfield, Connecticut, attends powerhouse St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Connecticut, after playing at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Moreover, on its page X, St. Thomas More says that it is five-time NEPSAC “AAA” champion, and the Chancellors also won the national prep championship in 2011.
On the AAU circuit in the spring and summer, Jemison competed for the Boston-based Expressions Elite 17U team in Nike’s EYBL league. He is a good friend with 2025 four-star point guard Nigel Jameswho was offered by the Orange in late August, took an official visit to the Hill in mid-September and was part of the Expressions’ 16U group during the most recent AAU season.
Beyond the ‘Cuse, Jemison’s offer list also includes schools such as Villanova, Xavier, Providence, Virginia, Temple, George Mason, Boston University, Rice, Saint Joseph’s, Rhode Island, Yale, Fairfield, UMass and Brown.
According to the Pro Insight interview, Jemison visited Providence not too long ago. He says Big 12 Conference powerhouse Kansas recently contacted him. Some of the other suitors he mentioned as being in regular contact with him include Syracuse Basketball, Xavier, Providence and Virginia.
Another team to perhaps watch here is a school from Jemison’s hometown, UConn, which won the 2023 NCAA Tournament title. Hopefully Jemison will consider making an unofficial or official visit to the SU campus at some point in the future.
Looking ahead to the upcoming 2023-24 season at St. Thomas More, Jemison says he is focused on doing everything he can to help his team win a national prep crown. “I play the game to win,” he says, adding that it’s the “only reason I play.”
When it comes to his own player development, he says he wants to improve his ball handling, his ability to create dribbles, his defense and the consistency of his shots.
When asked what he was looking for in a future college program, Jemison mentioned things like style of play, attending a winning school and player development, as his long-term goal is to making it to the NBA after a solid college career.
