Hit the ball with the driver.
We’ve all told you this, but it doesn’t work for everyone. This can add too much loft at impact, create too much spin, and make your contact a little too low on the clubface – a big steal of distance.

Try this. Throw a ball as usual, then place two tees directly in front of and on your target line as you see here. The goal? You guessed it: hit the ball while driving the club through the other two tees. If you tend to hit the ball too “up” you will definitely miss the most forward tee.
Hitting the ball less “up” with the driver can be your secret to gaining more yards. GOLF
Use the visual created by the two additional tees to keep your driver a little lower to the ground at impact but also on the line where you need to swing. By grabbing the ball and the other two tees, you’ll manage to get the club off the ground a bit and stay on the path more – a boon for anyone looking for a few extra yards. If you start catching the ball more in the center of the face, you will know that this exercise is for you.

TaylorMade Qi4D Custom Driver
BUILT FOR SPEED The redesigned head profile increases ball speed with improved aerodynamics developed through advanced simulations. FACE FOR DISTANCE 60x Carbon Twist Face is a technological cornerstone that delivers weight savings, incredible ball speed and more consistency compared to a titanium face. ADJUSTABLE PERFORMANCE The 4° loft sleeve can be used to adjust loft, lie and face angle for optimized flight. TOUR PROVEN TECHNOLOGIES The new and improved Speed Pocket protects ball speed and reduces spin on low face shots. Advanced CAD modeling creates a design with clear, powerful sound, the foundation of TaylorMade speaker performance. Multi-material construction allows engineers to strategically place mass in areas of the head where it maximizes performance, speed and stability.
