National Women’s Soccer League teams are now represented in the latest version of the FIFA video game, but some players aren’t happy with just being included.
The representations of several players in the video game are absent, including that of Sydney Leroux.
Leroux, a striker for Angel City FC in Los Angeles, tweeted a photo of one of the female characters, bald in the game.

Leroux took to Twitter to share her displeasure.
“I know you expect women to just be thankful and grateful for giving us some publicity, but please stop wasting our time. Some of us are bald,” she tweeted.
Players were quick to respond that the issue applied to both male and female players.
“So that usually means they are updating the players face. The week before they will become a generic looking bald dude for some reason,” a user wrote.

“The problem of bald gamers is a problem that happens to all genders,” said another.
Janine Beckie took issue with the fact that her blonde locks were not depicted with her character.
Leroux’s teammate, Sarah Gorden, took issue with his skill assessments.
“When @EASPORTSFIFA didn’t put me in the top 10 in speed, I was angry but I was like we’ll show them. But when they gave me a 48 in speed, I realized they never have and will never watch an NWSL match,” she wrote.
